Our study highlights the need for targeted interventions to address the root causes of street fights among Black girls, including poverty, racism, and lack of access to resources. We also emphasize the importance of promoting healthy online behaviors and digital literacy, including education on the potential consequences of sharing violent or explicit content online. Finally, we argue that policymakers and practitioners must work to address the broader social and cultural factors that contribute to street fights among Black girls, including systemic racism and sexism.
