Older firmware versions (pre-2022) are notorious for random disconnects every 10-15 minutes. Newer updates stabilize the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth handshake.

The process might seem intimidating, but it is remarkably safe if you follow the rules: use a small FAT32 USB drive, keep your engine running, and only use firmware provided by your seller. The rewards—faster wireless connections, new features, and ironclad iOS compatibility—are well worth the 15 minutes of effort.
