Our survey results show that the most popular types of entertainment content in Indonesia are music videos, comedy sketches, and drama series. The majority of respondents (85%) prefer to watch entertainment content on social media platforms, such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. We also found that local languages, such as Indonesian, Javanese, and Sundanese, are widely used in popular videos, with 70% of respondents preferring content in their native language.
