If Episode 80 ends with Maan suspending Geet, Episode 81 begins the "atonement" arc. Maan secretly investigates Sasha. He plants a trap to expose her forgery. However, what makes the show brilliant is that Geet doesn't wait for Maan. She starts her own investigation, leading to a thrilling confrontational sequence in Episode 85 where Sasha’s lies are exposed in front of the whole office.
