The primary function of the EZ2C Dialogue Menu is right there in its name—a phonetic play on "Easy to See." In the base version of Fallout 4 , Bethesda Softworks made a controversial design choice regarding dialogue. Instead of presenting the player with full sentences or clear intent, the default interface offers short, often ambiguous paraphrases. A player might select "Sarcastic," only to have their character utter a line that is genuinely hurtful or completely off-topic. Furthermore, the default text size and formatting were often criticized for being difficult to read, particularly for players gaming on larger screens or those with visual impairments.
