Renpy — Uninstall

Ren’Py does not heavily rely on the Windows Registry. However, the installer version adds uninstall keys and file associations ( .rpy files may open with Ren’Py).

If you want to completely erase all traces, navigate to %APPDATA% and look for folders named after your visual novel projects (e.g., MyVisualNovel ). These contain editor settings but not game assets. uninstall renpy

: Locate the folder where you unzipped Ren'Py (e.g., renpy-8.1.1-sdk ). Right-click it and select Delete . Ren’Py does not heavily rely on the Windows Registry

If you created games using the launcher, those projects are often stored in a separate "projects directory" you chose during setup. uninstall renpy
