Beta 2 debuts the Adaptive Flight Surfaces system. Traditional control surfaces (ailerons, elevators, rudders) have been minimized in favor of a "smart-skin" approach. The trailing edges of the wings and stabilizers now utilize piezoelectric actuators that change shape microscopically based on air density and speed.
