This paper examines the effects of social media on Indonesian youth, with a focus on online behavior and addiction. Using a mixed-methods approach, this study surveys 1,000 Indonesian youth aged 15-24 and conducts in-depth interviews with 50 participants. The findings suggest that excessive social media use is associated with increased symptoms of addiction, decreased attention span, and altered social interaction patterns. The study also explores the role of social media influencers and online celebrities in shaping youth behavior and attitudes.
