As Imhotep wreaks havoc on the city, Rick, Evelyn, and their friend, Jonathan (John Hannah), embark on a perilous journey to stop him. Along the way, they encounter a mysterious artifact known as the "Scarab of Life," which holds the key to defeating Imhotep.
