Download the Intel Driver & Support Assistant (IDSA) from the official Intel website. Install and run the utility.

If you have specific driver files downloaded, you can force an update through Windows directly.

This update, released in February 2026, addresses vulnerabilities in the Intel Converged Security and Management Engine (CSME) and Active Management Technology (AMT).

However, Intel has not abandoned Z790 users. In fact, recent chipset updates for Z790 and Z690 have been arguably more vital than the Z890 launch.
