While prior work has examined Indonesian bahasa gaul (e.g., Arifin, 2019) and the role of visual fashion trends in Muslim identity (Siregar, 2020), the intersection of these phenomena with meme‑driven verification culture remains underexplored. This study fills that gap by offering a micro‑analytic lens on a concrete lexical artifact.
