Plot and Structure The story follows three mismatched protagonists: Manny, a stoic woolly mammoth; Sid, a talkative and accident-prone sloth; and Diego, a cunning saber-toothed tiger. They form an unlikely trio after Sid’s antics lead to the abandonment of a human baby, Roshan, who becomes the mission that unites them.
