The central theme of the project——emerged from a series of conversations between Charlotten, a photographer with a background in portraiture and fine‑art lighting, and Goro, a multidisciplinary visual artist known for kinetic installations and mixed‑media collage. Both artists shared an interest in exploring the tension between stillness and movement, identity and performance, and the way light can both reveal and conceal.
