Yet, the tech underground and retro-computing communities have recently revived discussions around a concept dubbed —a hypothetical or community-built operating system stripped of all 64-bit extensions, designed to run exclusively on i686 (Pentium Pro and later) or compatible 32-bit x86 architectures.
